Adam's Music House

We were very pleased to have Enrique return to play solo and 4 hand piano with Dr. Tobin for a warm and appreciative crowd.

Enrique is in medical school but his playing has really matured since he last played at Adam’s December 20th, 2019. The Medtner Opus 38 was well controlled, played with more color and depth than before. Enrique took full advantages of the colors and sounds available on our 7’4″ Bosendorfer 225.

After a break, Enrique returned with Dr. Anthony Tobin to perform one of the masterpieces of the 4-hand piano repertoire, the Schubert f minor Fantasy. For this intimate piece they chose our smaller instrument, the 6’7″ Bosendorfer 200. This mellow instrument served the colors of the Schubert and, as a piano built in Austria, closely relates with Schubert’s Austrian identity.

We wish Enrique well with his medical studies and hope he will continue with the piano. We plan to invite him to return for another program!
